Evangelization Assistant | 20 hours per weekSaint Mark the Evangelist Parish is seeking to immediately hire an energetic, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic part-time assistant for Faith Formation and Youth Ministry. This position will be hourly, requiring approximately 20 hours per week. Applicants for this position should have flexible availability, as weekly hours may include days, evenings, and weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday). This is non-negotiable.The person hired for this position will assist the Parish as follows:
- Faith Formation duties may include, but are not limited to, hands-on preparation for program sessions, data entry, attendance records, clean-up, logistics, arrival and dismissal help, and more, for all faith formation programming both school year and summer, as well as Vacation Bible School.
- Sacrament assistance with planning, preparation, and events as directed or needed.
- Middle School Youth Ministry assistances with advance preparation and events as needed and directed.
Important other information about the position:- Clearances are required.
- Schedule will reflect where assistance is needed and may change on a week-to-week basis based on parish needs, events, and time of year.
- The work schedule will be determined in advance for the upcoming pay period by the Director of Faith Formation.
- This position reports to Director of Faith Formation for all Faith Formation issues, scheduling, and direction.
