The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic service organization for adult men. The Knights serve communities on a local and global scale through a variety of activities. Membership and How to Join
As a member of the Knights of Columbus you and your family enjoy many benefits, including 12 free issues annually of Columbia magazine, the world's largest Catholic family magazine, eligibility to join the Knights of Columbus top-ranked life insurance program, and many more family and personal benefits.
Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practicing Catholic men in union with the Holy See, who are at least 18 years old. A practicing Catholic is one who lives up to the Commandments of God and the precepts of the Church.

There are several options for making 2024 dues payments:

Meetings
The Saint Mark the Evangelist K of C Council meets on the second Thursday of each month in the Fellowship Hall located at 525 Cherry Street in Mars, PA. Meetings begin at 7:00pm with the rosary and the meeting follows at 7:30pm. All members are welcome to attend.
An exemplification ceremony is a special ceremony of admission and advancement that takes about 30-40 minutes to complete and advances new and existing members through the lessons of Charity, Unity and Fraternity required of a Third Degree member.
Additional information about exemplification and when the next ceremony will be, can be found by checking the Knights of Columbus website, watching the Sunday bulletin, or contacting one of the K of C's officers.
Exemplification is a great way to get started on your "Knights" journey.

Pittsburgh will be hosting the 2025 Pennsylvania Knights of Columbus State Convention from May 15-18, 2025.
The event will take place at the Greentree DoubleTree by Hilton.

Giving the GIFT of LIFE:
Saint Kilian's church hall serves as the site of a very successful blood drive program hosted by the Knights of Columbus.
Blood drives are an integral part of maintaining an adequate blood
supply for the area's healthcare facilities.
The next blood drive will be held on December 1st @ Holy Sepulcher's Youth Hall (8:30-1:30).
A special thank you to everyone who continues to help make this event so successful.
The Knights of Columbus held a Silver Rose prayer service for the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary following the 9:00am Mass at Holy Sepulcher Church on August 15, 2024. Pictures from that service are shown in the links below.
Photo #1 Group Photo Photo #3At the Council's June meeting, Seminarian Deacon Dan Kushner was presented with a Marian Chasuble as a gift for priestly ordination on June 29th. Our council has been supporting Dan throughout his formation as part of the K of C Refund Support Vocations Program.
For 65 years, the Pittsburgh-area Knights of Columbus have held fundraisers and donated over $6 million for the Bishop’s Project. The beneficiaries of this project are the St. Anthony School Programs and the McGuire Memorial, which serve intellectually disabled and/or physically challenged youth and adults. On April 15th, our council received recognition from Bishop Zubik for exceeding our fundraising goal through donations from our members, parishioners, and council activities. John Perock & Charlie Baker are pictured with Bishop Zubik.
Throughout the year, the Mars Fellowship Hall hosts Wednesday evening dinners for 70+ community neighbors. Often times many of our Knights volunteer to prepare, cook, & serve these meals. Below are some pictures showing the "fruits" of their labor!
July 17, 2024 #1 July 17, 2024 #2 First of all, a special thank you to all our parishioners for supporting our monthly soup sales. The monthly soup making season (Oct-Feb) is our largest fund-raising effort, which supports many of the charitable services the Council provides to the Parish community.
And 2024 was another great soup-making season thanks to a lot of fantastic volunteers and a wonderful community of supporters.
On April 17th Curt Zingaro & John Perock joined Holy Sepulcher Catholic School (HSCS) principal, Mr. Correll to award 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place prizes for the recently completed Lenten Catholic Citizens Essay Contest - The Seven Last Words of Jesus.
Congratulations to the winners and thank you to the thirty-seven students in 6th, 7th, & 8th grade who submitted essays. And a very special thank you to the teachers who judged the entries!
Thanks to a great kitchen staff and a wonderful group of volunteers, the September 24th Pancake Breakfast provided 154 hungry breakfast patrons with an awesome menu of pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, condiments, & drinks.
The food was great and the social atmosphere even better.
Thank you to all who helped make this successful!
