Within Saint Mark Parish are several large nursing facilities: Atria at Cranberry Woods; Colonial Gardens; Concordia of Cranberry; Overbrook Pointe; Penn-Mar Plaza; St. John Specialty Care Center; Shelbourne Personal Care Home; UPMC Cranberry Place; UPMC Passavant Hospital Cranberry; Valencia Woods at St. Barnabas. Saint Mark Parish is responsible for sacramental celebrations and pastoral care at each of these institutions. A large number of parishioners who are Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion provide this care each week.
Facility Service Provided Atria at Cranberry Woods 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month and the Rosary on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Tuesday of the month.
Service held at 11 am.
Colonial Gardens Distribution of Communion every weekend. Concordia of Cranberry Communion Service on Mondays at 10 am. Overbrook Pointe Communion Service on the first Friday of each month at 1:30 pm. Penn-Mar Plaza Communion Service on the first Wednesday of each month at 2 pm. St. John Specialty Care Center Communion Service on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 10 am (If the first day of the month is a Tuesday the service occurs on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday that month). Shelbourne Personal Care Home Communion Distribution each weekend UPMC Cranberry Place Rosary and Communion Service on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Sundays of each month.
Rosary 10:30 am / Communion Service 11 amUPMC Passavant Cranberry Hospital Communion distributed 2 or 3 times each week at both the hospital and UPMC Cranberry Place. Valencia Woods at St. Barnabas Rosary and Communion Service every other Monday at 10 am.
