Prayer Chain Ministry

Join parishioners who participate in our email prayer chain ministry. The email prayer chain is made up of people who regularly check their email and desire to be part of the prayer team. Prayer requests will be sent via email allowing you to pray for members and friends of our parish. If you would like to join our Email Prayer Chain, send your email address to [email protected].

The intention of our prayer ministry is to pray for parishioners, their families and friends. Prayers for national and international needs will be added by the parish as appropriate, but normally our prayer intentions focus on the needs of the local faith community.  Intentions submitted that are broader in scope will be redacted to "a special intention".

To request prayer intentions or email your intentions to [email protected]. To assist others with your prayers, you may add your email address to our list by clicking the box in our online prayer form or forwarding it to [email protected].

If you have a personal prayer request or would like to pass on requests from others, please do so in one of the following manners:

• Via email: Email your requests to [email protected].
• Via phone: You may call requests in to Deacon Ralph at 724-625-1665 x2103.
• Via internet: Simply complete our online prayer form.

Sensitivity and care are taken to provide confidentiality in prayer requests.

Respect Life

This committee helps to promote the sacredness of all human life. They also sponsor the annual March for Life bus trip to Washington, D.C.

Prison Ministries

This long-time ministry provides pastoral visits to incarcerated women in the Butler County Jail.

Request a Prayer Shawl

The Saint Mark Ladies of Charity provide prayerfully knitted or crocheted Prayer Shawls to those in need.A shawl may be given to the unborn or the elderly. They may be given at a difficult times, joyful times, even as a thank you for friendship, help and guidance. We hope each recipient will feel the love of God and the love of the parish.
